Heats continuously
Great for WVO
Immersion Heaters
We have used these heaters to heat water, oil and biodiesel.

When using in biodiesel, remove the heater and water rinse it before storage.  The bio is hard on the electrical cord.  I used the barrel heater for a couple years to heat bio for spray drying with no problems.  The manufacturer will not warranty these heaters for anything but water heating.   That said, I am still using the one I started with four years ago to heat WVO to separate water.

1000 Watt Barrel Heater

!

This heater will warm a five gallon pail of water from 60 degrees to 110 degrees in less than 20 minutes.

This heater will warm a five gallon pail of water from 60 degrees to 110 degrees in less than 20 minutes. Completely portable, move it from bucket to barrel.

Built for years of service it will burn out if operated dry. Guard protects hot element from contacting surfaces after removal from bucket and it also keeps the heating element away from the plastic, EDPM or fiberglass materials of the drum.

1000 watts, 120 volt. 6 foot cord, UL approved.  Completely submersible.

Can be used to heat water, fuel, vegetable oil for biodiesel processing.  Also useful for dewatering Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO), since 100 to 120 degree oil settles out very nicely.

This heater is thermostatically controlled. The heater, while immersed in liquid, will heat continuously to 110° and then shut off until the temp of the liquid drops to about 80.  Spray drying washed biodiesel is a breeze when the product is warmed first. I can dry 35 gallons of warm fuel in a couple hours.

1000 Watt Bucket Heater

!
This heater will warm a five gallon pail of water from 60 degrees to 110 degrees in less than 20 minutes.  It keeps heating until power is removed.
Completely portable, move it from bucket to barrel.

Built for years of service it will burn out if operated dry. There is thermal overload protection, but it is not foolproof.

Also useful for dewatering Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO), can raise temp of product to boiling.  It will reach about 160 F in an uninsulated barrrel, then it looses as much heat to atmosphere as it generates.

This heater is NOT thermostatically controlled. The heater, while immersed in liquid, will heat continuously
