I have turned off the automatic credit card processing on the site.  It was confusing to many people who did not realize that several of the things that I sell cannot be shipped together and that additional charges would apply.

Just submit your order as though you will be sending a check and I will send a PayPal invoice to you.  You will have a chance to send me a note in checkout, so if you want to use a credit card directly let me know there and I will call for the number.  As always, I appreciate your business

We do biodiesel.  We use bio, we brew bio, we love bio, we live bio.  Our goal is to provide you with the clearest information, the best resources, the freshest chemicals and the fastest service available anywhere.  We are not always the lowest price on the net, but we strive for the best value.  Those of you who know us from our auctions on Ebay can refer to our over 500 all positive  feedback.  There are going to be the occasional problems, but we can work together to resolve them quickly.

We also provide the catalyst needed to make glycerin soaps.  It is exactly the same as the bio catalyst.  Don't let some fool tell you that the fancy labeled hydroxides are any different than the ones sold here.  $10 for 18 ounces of NaOH is plain and simple, a rip off.  We make soap from our glycerine byproduct, we know it works just fine.

A word about shipping--

Getting the shipping calculator aligned and working right seems to be beyond my humble abilities.  Some items cannot be shipped together because of size or incompatability, concerns for breakage or contamination.   For that reason, I have assigned a shipping price to each item.  If you just order one thing the shipping will be correct, if you order several it may add up to a whopping amount.  No worries, I will pack and weigh the order before I run the card and tell you exactly what shipping will be.  We do not have minimum orders or a handling fee, so you get billed for actual charges.   I can also ship on your UPS or Fed Ex account, if you prefer.  Just submit the order and I will send you a Paypal invoice, with shipping.  If you pay for the order when it is submitted I will have to invoice you for the shipping charges anyway.  I can also take your credit card over the phone and actually prefer that to Paypal.

Most chemicals and compounds need to ship by Fed Ex.  Only non flammables of less than 10% purity can be shipped by USPS.

We realize the popularity of biodiesel homebrewing is growing by leaps and bounds, just like the price of the fuel it replaces.
Click on our favorites page (above right) for access to pages both on and off site that will explain the process in detail.  We always try to answer emails in as short a period of time as possible, and welcome the opportunity to help those who are willing to listen and learn.

We sell lots of chemicals and get supplies in weekly. 
We repackage those products that require it in an air conditioned area.  That keeps us comfortable and sociable, but more important (to you at least) it keeps the humidity under control.  KOH and NaOH are extremely hygroscopic.  That means they will absorb moisture from the atmosphere rapidly, and that degrades the purity of the catalyst.  That, in turn, makes it less efficient in our brewing process.  Phenolphthalein indicator solution has a shelf life of one year, we prepare it in small batches and date code all the bottles.  Sulfuric Acid is stored in its original keg and measured out when sold.  We use these chemicals in our own pursuit of bio diesel and do not have the time to throw away on doing something over because of inferior products.
